Hi there. My name’s Will Pearce, and I’m a freelance copywriter based in Bristol, UK.
I’ve worked on web copy, emails, blog posts, and content marketing campaigns for clients like the United Nations, Honda and the Royal Navy. With experience in print journalism and digital marketing, I have a knack for bringing warmth, wit and clarity to any subject, no matter how dry.
But I would say that, wouldn’t I? Don’t just take my word for it – head over to my blog to read examples of my work, then check out my testimonials to see how I’ve helped businesses just like yours. Or you could dive right on in and drop me a message.
Why hire a freelance copywriter?
If you have the resources to justify an in-house wordsmith, then more power to you. However, if you’re like most businesses, you probably don’t have piles of spare cash lying around to pay a full-time writer – and if you did, they probably wouldn’t have a great deal of work to do.
You may also have come across so-called ‘content agencies’ who offer seductively low rates. Unfortunately, it’s very much a case of ‘you get what you pay for’ with agencies like these; more often than not, they’re staffed by naive English graduates who churn out bland, faceless ‘content’ for a couple of pounds per hour. Of course, there are plenty of reputable content agencies out there – but it can be difficult to sort the wheat the chaff.
A freelance copywriter is what you might call a happy medium between a full-time, in-house writer, and a ‘content farm’.
Why hire me?
Sure, I have a degree in English literature and creative writing. I also have several years of experience in the copywriting game. Big deal – those sorts of credentials are ten a penny. What makes me so special? Well, I have something that no amount of training can provide: style. Involve me in your next project, and you’ll get:
- Sparkling prose
- Irresistible headlines
- Thorough research
- Better search rankings
- ‘Je ne sais quoi’
My copy may be humorous at times, but I’m serious about what I do; whether it’s a tweet or a white paper, I’ll never give you anything less than 100% of my time and effort.
